About Kevin Daly
Kevin Daly is the Founder and CEO of TurboHaul. His interest in hauling and recycling began at the tender age of five when he started helping his older brothers collect aluminum cans and deposit bottles to process and cash in for spending money— all of which was immediately spent on candy. (He was five after all.)
Kevin continued developing his knowledge of recycling, waste, and transportation through high school and later working his way through college with jobs in a gold mine, an aggregate recycling plant, concrete construction, moving and storage, landscaping, estate management, and residential property management. Kevin noticed that all of these industries produced huge amounts of bulky waste that needed to be disposed of and/or recycled.
These experiences lead Kevin to develop a business plan during his last year of college for a very unique waste management company. One month after graduating with honors from the University of Maryland with a dual degree in Logistics and Marketing, Kevin officially launched TurboHaul. Over the last 25 years, he has grown TurboHaul into the largest single operation in the United States specializing in commercial bulk trash removal, disposal, and recycling. It is estimated over this time that less than 1% of TurboHaul profits have been spent on peanut M&Ms.
When Kevin is not growing TurboHaul into a national brand, he is happily occupied with his beautiful wife and eight children. He has heard people speak of something called a ‘hobby’, but has not, as of yet, experienced one himself. In addition to being a coach, mentor, church and community leader, Kevin is a highly sought-after MC for weddings, parties, fundraisers, and the like, sometimes known to perform under the moniker ‘MC K-Dawg’…much to the embarrassment of his aforementioned wife and eight children.
