Sell Pallets: Artisans and builders enjoy creating furniture or art pieces out of used pallets. Place ads online to get the word out and establish a new customer base that would be eager to buy your pallets.
Donate Pallets: Contact local charity organizations that might be interested in reusing your gently worn pallets. Pallets can be transformed into home DIY projects for those in need.
Recycle Pallets: Pallets may have sharp edges, exposed screws, or broken pieces that may make them unsafe to carry and transport to a pallet recycler yourself. Contact the Shipper: If you have regularly scheduled shipments to your residence or business, contact the shipper and ask them to take their pallets back. How do pallet recycling services work?

Pallets can be recycled in a few different ways. Vendors can collect used pallets and reuse them or businesses or institutions can send gently used pallets to pallet recycling centers where they will be repaired and brought back into circulation.

Any damaged pallets or oddly-shaped pallets that can’t be reused are brought to recycling centers where the wooden materials are converted into usable mulch to enhance landscaping and enrich the soil in gardens. To process the mulch, large machines grind wooden pallets into pieces, then magnets are deployed to remove any metal or leftover screws. This mulch can be dyed in a variety of colors like brown, black, and red—plus, it’s environmentally friendly!
